A Dash of Pink

My cousin Iris did a major closet clean out a couple of years ago and gave me this skirt.  I’ve only worn it a handful of times, but I really love it.  The cut, the color, and the flowiness are perfection!  Thank you again Iris!

jacket: thrifted Armani // tee: Lanvin for H&M // skirt: gifted // cuff: F21 // booties: Chanel {similar} // bag: Chanel {cute} // sunglasses: Karen Walker

I would probably wear this skirt everyday, but that’s usually frowned upon in “adult world”!  If only I were a kid again!  LOL!

With this skirt, I have a specific brown top, heels, and red purse that I wear.  I just wanted to play around to see how a tee, jacket, and blazer looked with it.  I’m not sure about the proportions, but I guess that’s what experimenting and blogs are for!

I’m so glad it’s the weekend!  We are going to see the ballet “Dracula” tomorrow and having dinner with some friends!  I’m super excited!

Happy Friday!!  Hope everyone has a happy weekend!

  5. Enjoy the ballet and it’s always good to dress a bit silly every now and then. Carrie from SATC pulled it off plenty of times ;) Have a great weekend Sam!

  6. I’d usually pair pink with lighter shades (like beige, white etc) but this actually looks great!

Your hair is so pretty!! I love how you styled it here SO much. Oh how I wish I had a full head of hair!
Stress and age is having a toll on what little hair I have left.., :(
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  9. i just found your blog and i am already a big fan of your style, Sam. Your style is a unique mix of bohemian, girly and chic/haute couture. so hard to describe it. so hard to describe this outfit. the skirt is super girly, and the little bows on your shoes but the accessorizing and the cut of the boots gives this outfit an edgy glam touch.
    totally coveting it.
i am now a proud follower of yours via gfc and bloglovin (you know in case they decide to shut down gfc forever in the future) and i am thinking of following you via twitter and texting you, i just discovered twitter and i am kind of hooked. don’t know if you are using it or rarely using it though.

would love it you checked back my blog, you know a girl has to promote her work without going for follow me and i’ll follow you, so i guess leaving a link doesn’t matter right? i leave a link you read and decide to follow or forget it forever

  10. Love this girly chic look though the skirt might be a bit too girly for me. It looks perfect on you though, especially with those shoes and I’m digging your hair like this too! Hope you had a lovely weekend!! x
