Military {Wo}man

It’s that time again! The Bloggers Do It Better Challenge arrived.  My mission, should I choose to accept it: Military Chic!  {Kristina even designed her own shirt to kick off the extravaganza!  Way to go girl!}

top :: vintage Emanuel Ungaro (thrifted at Bess and Evie’s)
cardigan :: Leifsdottir {different version and another}
belt :: H&M {similar}
jeans :: LOFT {I like these}
booties :: Givenchy (NM Last Call) {different version here}
scarf :: gifted from friend
bracelets :: old {similar}
purse :: vintage Coach {new version here}

I did my best to be a style soldier and kept accessories neutral to go with the dolman sleeve military cardigan.  Fuschia was the perfect fall color to complement the green, brown, and tan.  Feminine details, like ruffles and a raw silk lapel, make the cardigan easy to wear without looking too authoritative.  And what military outfit is complete without a scarf and satchel?!
{These were quick pics as the sun was setting.  You can see the background getting darker and darker.}  Hope you enjoyed my military chic assignment!
