It’s a Wrap

Wrap dresses are one of my favorite go-to dresses!  They are simple and chic.  I like the fact that they can expand with you if needed and they are easy to move around in.

dress :: London Times (c/o mom)
necklace/earrings :: Premier
bag :: Antonio Melani
heels :: Nine West

In fact, dresses are so easy.  I usually reach for one when I’m running late.  You just add accessories and shoes and you’re done.  You look polished but you don’t even have to match anything.  Dress + accessories + heels = fab!

I usually wear turquoise accessories with this dress, but I wanted to changed it up so I picked red!  Red is also a great “neutral” and goes with so many colors (like grey, white, and black).
I got this little red number on sale from Dillards!  I love the color and the hand held look!  It’s a beautiful embossed leather and adds a little pop to any outfit!
Aren’t you glad the end of the week is here?  Sorry, I’ve been really behind on my comments (and visiting everyone’s blog).  It’s been a crazy week, and now I’m headed out of town for the next week.  Will be catching up soon!  Lots of love and hugs to everyone!

Happy Friday!!

  1. You are so right, wrap dresses are the easiest, chicest way to get out the door in the morning.  I love your bow shoes and that beautiful red bag.  I wish a nice Dillards was near me!

  3. I love wearing red/turquoise/yellow with black and white. I have a ton of black and white in my closet so most of my accessories are these colours (when I say accessories, I really mean shoes :D)
    I can’t seem to pull off the wrap dresses but I love seeing them on others..You look fantastic!

    BTW, I’ve awarded you the Kreativ Blogger Award- Come by my page and check it out!

  4. I love black, white, and red together. And the shoes are adorable! Great look!

  5. Hmmm really this is not DVF?  I own 6 of her wrap dresses (yes I clearly have an addiction and I will admit it).  One of my dresses has a similar print…..

  6. Thanks June!  Sometimes, it’s hard for me to not match shoes and purse, but I thought it was worth it for these bowtie heels!

  7. Thanks Kim!!  You’re a doll!  You and Stylish have mentioned to wear more red, and I’ve been taking that advice!  And everytime I do, I get compliments!!  :o)  Hope you had a fabulous weekend (I’m a little late)!

  8. Hi Alexa!!  You could definitely pull off a wrap dress! And your shoes (accessories) that I’ve seen are to die for!!

    Thanks for the award!!  (I got it from Kim too! LOL!)  I’m behind on all my comments and blog reading!  Trying to catch up but I’m also working this weekend!  :o)

  9. Thank you Kristen!!  It’s hard to tell but the dress is a dark brown print – I think my photo effects made it look black!  Hope you are doing well!  :o)

  10. I wish it was DVF!  One day, I will own a DVF wrap dress!  So impressed that you own 6!!  You have one for almost every day of the week!  What an awesome investment!  Wrap dresses are just the best – and you have THE dress(es)!
