Leopard, and Cheetah, and Turquoise! Oh My!

It’s time for another Bloggers Do It Better Challenge!  This time, the goal was to mix it up animal style!  Oh yes, Kristina said animal prints… if you dare!  So are you blinded by my overindulgence of big cat prints?  I guess you can call me the cat lady!  (I DO have two cats… and one dog too!)

jacket :: CABI
top :: H&M
skirt :: Moschino Cheap and Chic (ebay)
earrings :: Fantasia (gifted from Mr. S)
necklace :: gifted from MIL
bracelet :: Anthropologie (sale)
heels :: Stuart Weitzman
purse (as clutch) :: Coach

Getting away with two animal prints can be tricky!  It helps that the leopard print is black and tan.  To tie it all together, I grabbed my tan/neutral heels and purse.  Yes, the same trick that I use all the time!  P.S. It doesn’t hurt to have a little attitude to boot!  In all seriousness, a little confidence can add a certain je ne sais quoi to any outfit!

This wrap bracelet was an Anthropologie sale find for $20!  It has beautiful cobalt, turquoise and clear beads.  {I tried it to find the link but it’s sold out!  Similar here and here.}  It’s so versatile because you can wear it as a bracelet, double necklace, or long necklace!  The silver necklace is a gift from my MIL – it’s supposed to be my name in Hebrew.  She got it on her Israel trip.

YAY it’s Wednesday!!

  1. I adore that skirt! And I wish that bracelet wasn’t sold out–I love it! Gorgeous colors.

  2. That skirt is insane! It looks vintage. Could it be any prettier?

  3. Wow, you are brave for mixing leopard AND cheetah but it totally works on you!  I love the coat, I imagine its incredibly versatile and that skirt is lovely with the cool blue top and neutral accessories.  Well done Samantha!

  4. Thank you Katherine!  I have been wearing this blouse non-stop since I got it! Luckily, I’m not taking pics of all my outfits!!  :P

  5. Thank you Marlene!!  I wasn’t sure if it was overkill with all the cat prints! But I could take off the jacket, and it would be a wearable outfit also.

  6. Thank you Cara!!  I know – I had to put on my brave face after piling on all the cat prints, but I like the way it turned out!

  7. Thanks Meagan!  It’s possible that it’s vintage – I got it off ebay so you never know!  Thanks for stopping by and commenting!  Will check out your blog too!  :o)

  8. Oh thanks Kim!  It’s actually just a link party where lots of different bloggers show how they interpret a trend!  We can all be inspired be each other!

  9. Hi ABCD for Michelle!  Thank you – I wish it wasn’t sold out either.  I included the link so that people could call the Anthropologie 800 number and try to locate it by the item number.
